Update 20 Aug 2026: Responses to RFIs posted. See Questions and Answers in attachments. Amendment 0001: Updated project Statement of Work (SOW) and Site Map/Drawings to remove reference of a single cantilevered gate. It has been determined that the length of the required gate to too long for a single cantilevered gate and a double gate is required. See updated Section 1.2.A.II of SOW. The SOW is also updated to include language that the Government will level the berm to the south of the gate at the request of the contractor. See IFB amendment 0001 and updated documents for further details. The bid due date is not extended. ***REMINDER TO BIDDERS. ALL SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED ON THE SF1442 WHEN SUBMITTING A BID. FAILURE TO ACKNOWLEDGE AN AMENDMENT MAY RESULT IN REJECTION OF THE BID***The work shall be in strict compliance with this Statement of Work, the project specifications, and the project drawings. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary for the relocation of a perimeter fence section. Work includes the removal of existing fire station perimeter fence, the demolition of the noise barrier wall, and the installation of new chain-link fence and sliding gate. The work shall be performed to the standards outlined in the contract. REMINDER: Acknowledge all amendments in your Bid Package. SITE VISIT: A site visit for this project is scheduled for the date and time stated in the solicitation. Access to Battle Creek ANGB is through the Main Entrance at 1701 Hill Brady Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49037. Attendees will be escorted from the Main Entrance to the site visit location. See solicitation for details.
