NASIC District Cooling Plant - Wright-Patterson AFB, OH

DESCRIPTION: This project is for the design/bid/build construction of an approximately 17,135SF one story new chilled water District Cooling Plant (DCP). The DCP will be an unoccupied one-story building. The exterior fa�ade is to be pre-cast panels. Construction option of a new parking area to replace existing parking that will be lost due to the boundaries of the new building. This project will be located in Area A of Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) in Dayton, OH. Contract duration is estimated at 817 Calendar days. TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: Award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Construction contract. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be more than $10,000,000.00 in accordance with FAR 36.204. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This acquisition will be listed as full and open. SELECTION PROCESS: Award will be made utilizing the Best Value Tradeoff method. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Telephone and Fax requests for this solicitation will not be honored.
