CONSTRUCT CONCRETE SLABS

This is the solicitation for the construction of a fire lane surrounding building 1643 for emergency vehicle access. Approximately 16,600 square feet (SF) of area located on the east and north sides of the building, in two separate zones, will need to be demolished/prepped and replaced with concrete. These concrete slabs will create an adequate fire lane for emergency access and eliminate the Foreign Object Damage (FOD) hazard that currently exists. Project location: Building 1643, NAS JRB, Fort Worth, TX 76127. In accordance with FAR Provision 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of construction for this requirement is between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238110 with applicable size standard is $15 million. Solicitation release: 15 April 2016. Closing date for Bids: 16 May 2016 at 12:00 PM Central Time SET ASIDE: This solicitation is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR Part. 19.5 -- under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238110 (238110 Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors) Classification Code Y1PZ, with a size standard of $15 MIL. SITE VISIT: A site visit pre-bid/pre-proposal conference will be conducted on 26 April 2016 at 10:00 AM CST for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation. Information provided at this conference shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply. (The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation.
