Eglin AFB Paving IDIQ

This project includes, but is not limited to, providing asphalt paving and concrete support to Eglin AFB, FL. This requirement consists of resurfacing, full depth reconstruction, and new full-deep construction of bituminous concrete and portland cement concrete pavements. This work shall be self-performing and not sub-contracted out to a third party. Contractors shall have in-house laboratory capabilities of testing asphalt. Contractors in-house asphalt production shall be within reasonable distance to deliver temperature sensitive asphalt for large road construction and airfield construction projects. Clearing, excavating, grading and associated operations related to the construction of airfield pavements, roads, streets, railroads and culverts complete. Contractor shall be capable of placing at least 1,500 Tons of Airfield Pavement per day during runway milling and overlay construction. Construction of curb return widenings, new construction of bituminous concrete ramp-downs, crack repair in bituminous concrete pavement, new construction of concrete foundation walls and footings.
