CHILLER UNIT COMPONENTS FOR 760 CFM SULLAIRE AIR COMPRESSOR1 Model AFC44CB-0C41 General Air Products, Inc. Fluid Cooler at 427,538 Btu/Hr total at a flow of 46.4 gpm total with a 5? F approach, 40% propylene glycol solution and a design ambient of 85? F. Coolers will have A350 Johnson controls for fan cycling and 460v/3/60Hz electrical equipment and offer the following features as standard 4 direct drive 1.5 HP propeller fans with vinyl coated fan guards, weather resistant motors with sealed bearings, internal overload protection, and hardware designed for outdoor duty. Access door panels at each fan motor, vent and drain connection and corrosion resistant construction.1 Model FPSBD44A, 3 HP Fluid Pumping Station for 40 PSI and to be wired 460v/3/60Hz with a 120v control circuit. Pumping station to be completely pre-plumbed and pre-wired with TEFC type motors and a NEMA 4 steel control panel. The unit will have a close-coupled centrifugal pump with expansion tank, temperature and pressure gauges, check valves and shut off safety valves plus a steel base as standard. This unit will be a Duplex design.1 Model MVD75, 1.5? 75 degree thermostatic mixing valve.1 TC3060, Trim Cooler, to trim system on days over 85? F ambient.1 Model WV125, 1.25? Trim water modulating valve. The following document provides the requirements and specifications for the chiller unit for 2 Sullaire air compressors. Applicable Documents 1. Standards and Regulations: 2. Additional Documents Requirements 3. General Requirements This section provides the design specification requirements for the B190 compressor chiller unit. a. The chiller unit will need to be sized to provide water cooling to the heat exchangers on a 150 HP, 100 PSI Gardner Denver screw compressor that can produce 760 CFM. i. The compressors are plumbed into an oil cooler for the outgoing compressed air This section provides specific requirements for the B190 compressor chiller unit equipment requested. a. Fluid Fan Bank Cooler i. General Air Products Model AFC44CB-0C41, or equivalent ii. 427,538 Btu/ Hr total at flow rate of 46.4 GPM iii. To be operated with a 40% propylene glycol solution iv. A350 Johnson controls for fan cooling v. 460V/ 3 Ph/ 60 Hz vi. 4 direct drive 1.5 hp propeller fans with fan guards vii. Sealed bearings viii. Internal overload protection ix.
