The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) has a requirement for support services in seven service areas as follows: (1) Program Management, (2)Survey Operations, (3) Energy Analysis and Modeling, .(4) Data Integration, (5) Information Technology Support, (6) Product/Service Development Production and Marketing, and (7) Organizational Support. For more information on EIA visit the website at: http://www.eia.gov/. As a precursor to the competitive process to acquire these services, EIA is conducting market research to determine the market's capability to satisfy these requirements. Interested parties should review the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) Attachment 1 with this Special Notice. The average annual contractor support needed for this requirement is estimated to be 250 full time equivalents (excludes supply based survey operations support). The period of performance for this requirement is anticipated to be 5 years (including options), subject to the availability of funds.
