PSC: 4210 Fire Fighting Equipment Title: Type 6 Fire Engine-638U The US Forest Service intends to solicit and award a contract for thirty-three (33) Standard type 6 fire apparatus, model 638U per USDA Forest Service national standard specifications issued March 2026(c). The contract award will include thirty-three (33) Standard type 6 fire apparatus, model 638U per, operational training, and delivery to locations within Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Montana, North Carolina, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. The contract will be in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.1 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract award will be a 100% Total Small Business Set � aside, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The anticipated date of solicitation will be approximately 15 business days after the date of this posted pre-solicitation. The anticipated delivery date of the Standard type 6 fire apparatus, model 638U per with 4X4 chassis according to USDA Forest Service Specification will be before or on December 31, 2028.
