The Department of Veterans Affairs has a potential requirement to complete Real Time Location System (RTLS) Installation at three medical centers in Veteran Integrated Service Networks (VISN) 1. VA intends to issue an Request for Quotation on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. VA requires the use of existing Centrak and Intelligent Insite products. Under a previous contract, VA purchased hardware and software and approximately 50% of the RTLS solution was completed. See Previous Sources Sought Announcements. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes. This notice does not commit the VA to contract for any supply or service. Further, the VA is not seeking a proposal at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this special announcement. RTLS VISN 1 Solicitation 36C10A19R0004 will be posted no later than closing business January 22, 2019. Offerors are advised and cautioned that the previous announcement 36C10A18Q9089 will not be utilized and that the Official Solicitation number will be 36C10A19R0004. Potential offerors were requested to review the DRAFT solicitation and provide any comments or questions prior to the official solicitation.
